Sometimes you own plenty of games but don't feel like playing any of them. Have you experienced gaming burnout? What helped you rediscover the fun, or did taking a complete break work better?

When you have lots to play, something exciting to enjoy and you have no will or desire to pick up the controller to play.

It's when I stop looking forward to playing and start logging in just because it's part of my routine. If every session feels repetitive or frustrating and I'd rather be doing something else, I take that as a sign it's time for a break.

When nothing that I play excites me. If I get to that point, I know for sure that I've reached the saturation point in terms of the satisfaction that I get from the games that I play.

Having a huge library doesn't always mean I want to play. Taking a short break and not forcing myself usually helps the most. When I come back, I often enjoy gaming again, especially if I try something different instead of the same routine.

There was a time when I was spending a lot of time playing games but even then I never experienced burn out. I was enjoying "excessive" gaming. These days I play games in limit and don't experience burn out. Burn out is when you are playing games just like chores.
