For some people, gaming is the perfect way to unwind. For others, competitive matches can add even more tension. What kinds of games help you relax, and which ones tend to make stress worse?

Ultimately, it heavily depends on what my mood is after I get home from work. If I’ve had a long or bad day, I’ll usually opt to play something lighter. Farming sims, open-world survival craft, etc. Games like Valheim come to mind especially, which I have been playing lately. Sure, it can be grindy, but it doesn’t feel like a chore.

Horror games tend to not be something I play if I’m already stressed or tired. I love them, but I have to be in the right mood to really enjoy them.

Gaming helps me to ease my stress and anxiety. However, sometimes when I am too much stressed or anxious, or even tired, instead of gaming, I watch TV shows and movies, especially the ones that are feel good.

Gaming often lets me feel relaxed after a long day, it makes me feel like i am finally in control and can do whatever i want to do.

Gaming, for me, is a good way to unwind after a long day, especially when I choose something relaxing. Competitive games can sometimes add more stress, especially if you are already tired.
