How important are graphics on a pet game?

How important and vital are graphics to the aspect of a pet game? Do you think they’re more important than the features and gameplay of a pet game, or can a pet game still be good if its lacking in the graphics department?

Good enough to make them cute and loveable, whether it be simple sprites or 3D models.

Graphics don't have to be amazing really, especially for Pet games. As long they look fairly decent, you'll be able to have a good time.

I LOVE good graphics, I can't get into a game if the graphics suck. This is why I run Croma Hills on Minecraft, it is a great graphics pack that makes a night and day difference in Minecraft.

When it comes to pet games, I wouldn't say I want to see perfect graphics but I would like the graphics to be somewhat good quality to the extent that you can make out what each thing is and it's easy on the eyes.

I know some people who get annoyed if the graphics are not what they would call perfect when it comes to pet games and I never understood that.

I agree graphics don't have to be perfect. But they do need to be easy on the eyes. I just can't get into a game If a game has pixelated graphics.

While the features on a pet game are crucial, the graphics are like what compliments it. I won't enjoy playing a pet game that has got poor graphics no matter how good the gameplay is.

Exactly. Graphics will go long way to attract gamers. Pet owners should have a good simple and classy design in order to get more gamers. If the graphics are good, it has solved up to 60% of the pet sites.

I get that retro style games are still a thing for some but the greater majority favor good graphics. If your game is poor in this aspect, you will lose thousands of gamers.

No matter how much the gameplay on a pet game is good, I don't feel the life in the game if the graphics is not good. Having good arts style on a pet game makes it not to be dull. I won't sacrifice graphics for gameplay neither would I sacrifice gameplay for graphics on a virtual pet game. I need the two to be excellent.

I think features are more important, compared to graphics. It's easier to improve graphics, but gameplay, and features will keep members coming back. Same thing can be applied to virtual pet sites.

Graphics matter a lot, but not too much for me. As long as the pets look cute and the UI is not painful to the eye, I’m good. Some sites try too hard with ultra HD graphics but the gameplay is soo weak. Simple but charming art always wins.

Virtual pet games always thrive on emotional connections between the player and the virtual pets. For me, if the virtual pets are cute and well designed 3D models with personalities, I am cool. When a pet looks lovable, the primary goal is achieved. That's enough graphics work regardless of resolution.
