There is a circulating news that Gamepass subscription will now cost $360 annually and a lot of players are not having it easy with that. As a player, would you be comfortable paying that high for a game subscription or do you have an alternative plan to follow?

I've paid for a monthly recurring payment for GeForce NOW about twice already. Both times, I opted out of the subscription because I only played a small handful of games that I feel didn't warrant continuing the subscription. I wish I were more of a gamer at times, but I'm not. I primarily play the same games over again.

Paying up to over $300 for gaming subscription is not something that I can afford. I can easily pay $100 annually to subscribe for GamePass. I think it is only pro gamers that would pay that much. They can easily make money back from streaming within just a month.

None, I buy my games, I own them and play at my pace. If I pay for a subscription, I would have to game every day.

Having to play games at one's pace is a big advantage of buying the games that you like. It is a reason for me to get games that I enjoy playing and it has been working so far for me as well.

Frankly speaking, I have never paid for subscriptions. I prefer to buy individual titles and pay one time price. I don't play too many games and I do not play too much, so subscription would be waste of money.

If you don't play lots of games, then paying for a subscription is a waste of resources. Just like you said, you are better off buying those single games when you want to play them.

Well, it depends on the value I get from it. I can pay around $10–$15 monthly if the library makes sense. That is why platforms like Game Pass or PlayStation Plus are worth it because you have plenty games to play.

That's a fair price if you are someone who likes playing lots of games every month. The person who doesn't enjoy doing so won't want to pay such a huge amount for a subscription that they may end up playing just two to three games for the month.

I can still pay that amount per month, but anything above that, I just can't but it also depends on the game. If it's FIFA Ultimate or something that I really like, I could stretch a little more.
