There have been a lot of talks about Ai taking jobs in lots of industries. Do you think the same is happening in the gaming industry?
Yeah, it will cost a few job. But if companies can use it to enhance their jobs, more people will still retain their jobs and salary.I'm sure it will cost a few jobs, unless it's a good company using it to enhance a job.
AI is definitely making waves in the gaming industry right now and it's not replacing human developers entirely. AI is being used to automate tasks like testing and even content generation.
I understand your concern. But I see AI creating new opportunities for developers. You will also see the use of AI in various aspects of game development, from NPC behavior to narrative generation, which is so impressive.Well, you are right to an extent. I am just worried why a lot of these companies keep on sacking most of their employees.

Bugs and syntax errors are probably the most common feat to get over when making anything. With AI being able to detect and repair a bug in seconds, I could see the workforce chopped down drastically. That said, it could also bring in new talent for people who know AI and can create even better graphics for a more detailed or realistic game.
The ratio of jobs lost to gained with AI might be off... but there is going to be a pendulum swing with one career to another with AI.
Yes, that's for sure a game changer in the gaming industry. The things AI can do goes a very long way in making the developers work easy.I have seen the Devs use the AI in game development for tasks like level generation, animation, and testing. This is absolutely a game changer.
What I do know is that, AI will not replace creativity-driven roles entirely, but it will certainly augment them.Yes, that's for sure a game changer in the gaming industry. The things AI can do goes a very long way in making the developers work easy.
AI is also helpful in some ways. For instance, the indie devs can definitely leverage AI tools to streamline development which is amazing. What I do know is that, AI will not replace creativity-driven roles entirely, but it will certainly augment them.
Not at all. AI can never replace creativity-driven roles of humans. They can try their best but their best won't reach human's best. What I do know is that, AI will not replace creativity-driven roles entirely, but it will certainly augment them.
If they are programmed to do so, I'm quite sure it's going to happen. The real question is when will that happen? Will it sooner or later? What I do know is that, AI will not replace creativity-driven roles entirely, but it will certainly augment them.
AI is taking jobs everywhere and not just in the gaming industry. In fact, any field that's tech related, the workers there are vulnerable to AI taking their jobs.
Are you involved directly or indirectly in the teaching or educational sector? If you are not, you can't be 100% sure AI isn't used there now.You are not wrong at all. The teaching sector seems to be the only part that is not getting affected at all by what is going on, and it is as a result of how difficult it is to teach.
If teachers are not using AI programs to teach, I'm quite sure that students will be using them to study because they can easily have access to it.Are you involved directly or indirectly in the teaching or educational sector? If you are not, you can't be 100% sure AI isn't used there now.
Not only that, create new jobs for game players.Only thing it could possibly create is a job to check the AI's programming.
The core point is making sure that you upgraded on your knowledge in order to have some relevance to offer with AI in the picture. If you don't, you will be replaced.Game developers are integrating AI in games and I believe people with AI skills are in a better position to get jobs in gaming industry. I do not see AI taking jobs, it is making easier to get jobs for those who have the skills
