If you are a writer do you think AI is good or bad for your writing career. Do you think AI will take away your writing jobs? If you are an artist, do you think AI is good or bad for the world of art, do you think the value of artist has gone down because these days anyone can create an art form a prompt for an AI? Is gen AI good or bad for creative people?

I have always known that AI is very good though it has the bad sides too. I'm a writer and sometimes I have writer's block, that moment is when I will seek for help from AI.

My thoughts so far about AI good or bad is this; AI is good in its own side and I won't advise anybody to relay their trust or work fully on AI. Make sure to bring in your ideas in your work before seeking for help from AI.

I believe that it can both be a blessing and a curse at the same time for creatives. On one hand, it can definitely help to automate tedious tasks and free my time, especially for imaginative work. On the other hand, it stifles originality. So, I don't like depending too much on it.

As a writer, I think AI can be both good and bad for the writing career. While it can streamline certain tasks and help with productivity, there’s a concern that it might replace some jobs, especially for basic content creation. However, creative writing, storytelling, and nuanced human expression still require a personal touch that AI can’t fully replicate. It really depends on how it's used, AI can be a tool for enhancing creativity rather than replacing it.

I believe that in a generation or two, we will see that people are naturally not as creative because they will have relied on AI to create for them that they won't be able to come up with an original idea on their own.

Well, it can be bad only when you are too lazy and you try to republish 100 percent AI generated content. However, if you are creative enough to edit the generated content thoroughly and use AI generated content just for idea, AI can be really helpful.

Not at all, the AI does everything for you so there is nothing for you to get creative and evolve with your work to make it better.
What if you are using AI just for ideas or draw outlines. Do you thing taking any kind of assistance through an AI is bad.

AI is good for anyone that wants to go through the path or already been in the path of writing. AI will help out and bring the thoughts to reality.
But as for taking away our jobs, it can never happen because AI ain't creative.

I don't in any way think that AI is bad for creative people, except they use it to lift AI creations wholly. I use AI to create ideas that I develop by myself. It gives me leverage to explore the depths of my creativity more than I would ordinarily. It makes my music production work easier. Generative AI is largely a positive for creatives.

This is what it means to use AI in your own good way. You gave it your ideas to just leverage and explore the depths, a good results always come out with satisfaction.

It is only people that rely wholly on AI for their creativity that always have those failures associated with AI that makes AI to look bad. Using AI as an assistant is better than having to rely on AI.

I personally think AI is causing more harm than good when it comes to freelance work. So many people are using AI to generate artwork, and even articles. This is taking away from people who do this by hand on their own time. I don't mind if people use AI to translate something or proofread an article but people shouldn't rely on AI to do everything for them IMO.

I think the good news (at least for me) is that we're seeing the limitations of AI. It's not the panacea we were promised. It has flaws, and will continue to have issues that keep us from "losing everything" to the machines.

I think it is good because you can automate repetitive tasks and also improve your work. AI tools can make you efficient and productive

As a creative person, I don't antagonize Gen AI models in any way. They make the creative journey easier and simpler for me. I think Gen AI enhances my creativity rather than diminishes it.

For creative people, Gen AI can be a powerful tool. It speeds up brainstorming, helps break creative blocks, and handles repetitive tasks so you can focus more on ideas and direction.
But it also has downsides. If overused, it can make work feel generic or limit you from developing original thinking
