Jelly Roll and his wife, Alisa DeFord, also known as Bunnie X0, have reportedly called it quits.
According to court records on June 15, Jelly Roll, 41, filed for divorce from his wife, DeFord, in Tennessee back in May. The divorce was reportedly a mutual decision made by the former couple. The exes' split was a private family matter that has remained out of the public eye until now.
The country singer first met his wife in 2015 before he eventually made it big in the music industry. This came after Post Malone abruptly canceled six shows with Jelly Roll following his MAGA controversy, which had gone viral.
The exes have been through rocky patches throughout their marriage, according to TMZ. The two walked down the aisle in August 2016, about one week before the wedding, Jelly Roll reportedly welcomed a son with another woman.
DeFord, who was previously a sex worker, decided to quit the industry in 2023.
Outside of his rocky marriage, Jelly Roll has been having issues with his latest tour dates. On June 2, Post Malone shared disappointing news with fans as he abruptly axed six dates on his tour with him.
Malone took to his Instagram Stories to inform his followers that he made the hard decision to cut dates on his Big A-- Stadium Tour Part 2 with Jelly Roll. The six scrapped stadium dates included El Paso, Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa, and Oxford.
In April, Jelly Roll dropped out of the Sioux Falls show, with Staind replacing him. While Kid Rock announced he was cutting ticket prices for his forthcoming music festival, he revealed that Jelly Roll would no longer be headlining performance.
The artist reduced Rock the Country ticket costs by about 50 percent as he shared the news via Instagram. Although supporters usually welcome the reduced pricing, many felt let down as Kid Rock also confirmed Jelly Roll had withdrawn from the Sioux Falls and South Dakota performances on June 28.
Rock band Staind stepped in as his replacement. The Rock the Country festival announced that Jelly Roll would be replaced by Staind on a bunch of dates.
"@staindofficial has just been added as the headliner for the Sunday, June 28th date of Rock the Country in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, replacing Jelly Roll who will no longer be performing due to a scheduling conflict. Jelly Roll will still perform in Bloomingdale, GA, and Ashland, KY," it wrote online.
Supporters suspect the artist might be leaning more toward MAGA after an Instagram post from Kristi Noem, dubbed ICE Barbie, showed pictures of the two grinning and embracing.
During a backstage media session at the 68th Grammy Awards, where he collected three awards, Jelly Roll was questioned, "Would you be willing to comment on what's going on in the country right now?" His initial response to the journalist was, "Not really."
He continued, "So this is the truth, and I'm glad somebody asked, because I love talking about this stuff, and people care to hear my opinion, but so I can tell you that people shouldn't care to hear my opinion,"
Several A-listers have voiced their opposition to Noem and the Trump administration's ongoing immigration crackdown, which led to the fatal shootings of Minneapolis residents Reneé Good and Alex Pretti, both 37.
