Liverpool losing their 4th consecutive match

Liverpool lost to Manchester United at Anfield in the English Premier League on 19th October 2025 which makes it their 4 consecutive loss in all competition. The last time they lost 4 games in a row, Brenden Rogers was their Manager.

Do you think Slot should be worried about his job?
 
I think that Slot is being exposed by the Premier league. He rode on the squad built by Klopp to win the EPL last season, and decimated the squad to build his own that has no identity. I am certain he won't achieve much success in Anfield.
 
My problem is why the media haven't been calling for him to sacked or mount pressure on him after all the spending he did in the summer with nothing to show for it.
 
Liverpool fans are always very aggressive! Four straight losses? That is very painful. I don’t even support them but I can imagine the frustration. Klopp’s tactics lately just didn't work. Sometimes I feel like they’ve lost that spark they had two seasons ago. Anyway, football is up and down. They’ll bounce back soon as no team can be on top forever.
 
Liverpool is really struggling this season. Four losses back-to-back is not a small thing. Something’s definitely off, maybe injuries, maybe fatigue, maybe tactics. Klopp must be scratching his head by now. I still believe they’ll bounce back though.

Klopp is no longer the manager of Liverpool football club. It's Arne Slot who's their current manager. You're not aware?

I believe that they are going to come good, but I am happy that they are experiencing what they are experiencing at the moment. At least, it is clear to them that any team can go on a bad run.

Seriously, I never expected them to to have that kind of bad run. They won the transfer market in the summer with so many players they bought but they are struggling to keep up.

Liverpool as a team has not always been built around marquee signings. They always have average players that are very hungry for success. And the team also made a mistake by not moving Salah on last season. He is a shadow of himself this season so far.

The problem I even have with Salah right now is that he is constantly criticizing his fellow teammates without even looking at his performance as of late because he has been a complete washed up player.
 
Sounds like the coach needs to start looking for a new job and the players need more training.

The club's board would be very reluctant to sack him for two reasons. Last season, he won them the English Premier League trophy and they invested approximately £446 million in player acquisitions during the summer 2025 transfer window.

Players they bought were Alexander Isak (£125 million from Newcastle), Florian Wirtz (£116 million from Bayer Leverkusen), Hugo Ekitiké (£82 million from Eintracht Frankfurt), Milos Kerkez (£40 million from Bournemouth), and Jeremie Frimpong (£29.5 million from Bayer Leverkusen).

So, the board would sack him so soon immediately after all these investment.

They also lost Trent to Real Madrid. Many underestimate what Arnold does in the buildup as far as Liverpool FC is concerned. He is the player who ensured that the transition was smooth and went well. So, I expected them to struggle a bit with replacing that type of player.

At least, they beat Real Madrid in their UEFA Champions League match in Anfield yesterday with Trent playing for Real Madrid.
