Marapets has been experiencing widespread server errors for the past couple of days, first reported by their members on Reddit on Friday.

Server Issues?

Anybody else not able to log in or do anything due to ‘server issues’. Just want to check it’s not just me!

Recently, Marapets’ staff team announced on Facebook that they don’t have an ETA for when their server issues will be resolved.

There is currently no ETA however any updates will be posted here.

Marapets server hiccups have been ironed out and Marapets is now back online!

However, according to their staff there may be some more issues to wrinkle out so please keep this in mind, but as of now the servers are back online!

Great to hear it's back up, hopefully your hosting will invest into more back up means to keep things up and going.

I do hope they fix it soon. A lot have become obsessed with Marapets already. We do want to play with our pets again.

Marapets is currently down for emergency maintenance and will be returning relatively soon.




MaraPets Emergency Maintenance

The site is offline for approximately 48 Hours

Maintenance started July 25th at 16:00 GMT / 08:00 PST

As you may have noticed, the site has been unpredictable and unstable over the past few months, especially noticable during our June badge event. We've replaced and upgraded all of our hardware and have been busy preparing for this move. We now just need to shut down the site temporarily to move over all of the data and test everything on the new system. We estimate this could take around 48 hours but it could be longer if we run into any issues. If there are any issues, we will keep you updated, otherwise assume that no news is good news!
