Still fuming from her encounter with the Vending Machine, Snorella wandered deeper into Slater Park.
The first makeover in nearly two decades. About time.
“This place used to smell like brass and popcorn.
Now it smells like sugar and disappointment”
Her next stop was the
Enchanted Plushie Machine. She remembered it — barely — from long ago. Once a marvel of soft magic and meticulous craft.
She moved the claw to the left and nothing happened. Fifteen minutes she waited and she moved the claw to the right. Nothing happened.
She waited again. And again. Six times. The claw jerked sideways. The screen blinked. No plushie. No prize. Just a long, robotic sigh.
She kicked it. Hard.
The lights cut out. The screen shattered. A faint whiff of stuffing escaped into the air. She walked away without a word and got in line for the
Murfin Madness rollercoaster.
By the time she returned, the Enchanted Plushie Machine was gone.
In its place stood something sleeker. Animated screen. Responsive claw. Dots and arrows tracking every movement. A fresh stock of new plushies shimmered inside.
And like the others affected by the
Solar Flare, every use now has a chance to discover a planet, if you’ve launched any gumballs into orbit.

She used to wear goggles. Back then, everything hissed. Everything clicked. Everything mattered.
Snorella lived through an age of copper bolts, hand-poured moulds, and handcrafted machines that spat out smoke like they had opinions.
There was no AI in her era… and she plans to keep it that way
The gears needed oil. The valves needed tuning. And everyone respected the hiss of pressure.
Her machines filled entire buildings. Her blueprints lined brass-plated walls. People came from all over Marada to see the things she built — to hear the hiss of steam, the clank of pistons, the rhythm of invention.
The kind of machines that required gloves, timing, and courage. But over time, the machines got quieter. Smaller. Safer. Less Exciting.
“Ma’am, please step away from the machine.”
Security had arrived.

Security acted swiftly. One well-placed kick, and Snorella’s time in Slater Park was over. Her annual pass cancelled without refund.
“Kicking the machine is not okay. This isn’t the Christmas Tree.”
No stuffing was harmed this time. Probably.
Fortunately, the damage didn’t matter. Unbeknownst to most, the
Plushie Machine was already scheduled for a complete replacement — one that arrived suspiciously fast, as if someone had anticipated the chaos.
And, like all machines affected by the ongoing
Solar Flare, every use now has a chance to help you discover a planet, if you’ve launched any gumballs into orbit.
Twelve new planets have been spotted in orbit — shimmering with unfamiliar colours, shapes, and gravitational pull. Scientists are reporting
a subtle shift in weight. Some say it’s the wind. Others say it’s beginning.
No confirmation. Just rumours. For now.

To recap what happens during
Solar Flare weather event:
⋅ Use the
Gumball Machine and there is a chance that any gumball you win shoots out into orbit
⋅ When this happens, it's speed is randomly selected (between 11km/s and 199km/s) and recorded on the
Gumball Launch Log
⋅ Gumballs in orbit change every hour. After
6 Hours of travelling, these gumballs turn into
Planet Gumballs and are ready to be discovered
⋅ For every gumball you put into orbit, you are able to visit the
Telescope to try and discover a random planet
⋅ You have extra chances to discover planets using the
Vending Machine,
Enchanted Plushie Machine and
Plushie Machine
⋅ The more gumballs you launch into orbit, the more you are able to discover!
⋅ When you discover a planet, it's total distance will be calculated (time launched x speed travelled) and you will win the
Planet Gumball prize
⋅ The player that launched the gumball and the player that discovers it as a planet are both added to
Distance Travelled List
⋅ If you have the
Double Gumballs Giftbox you will receive two
Planet Gumballs instead of the usual one whenever you discover it at the
Telescope,
