Meta and Activision sued!

There are reports that families of victims in the shootings that happened in Texas school have sued Meta and Call of Duty developer, Activision over allegations that they promoted the use of firearms.

I think it's mental health we need to be looking after more than video games or any other type of media for that matter.
 
I thought this was something we wouldn't see again. For years when we see gun violence it has always been the fault of video games instead of looking at it from another angle. It's no surprise they have sued Activision and Meta, I don't see it getting too far though.

Mental health seems to be neglected a lot and that I agree should be looked at more instead of going after video games and video game developers.

I mean it is so embarrassing, especially when you have a look at how some parents end up bullying their kids all because they got something that they enjoy doing. Just like you said, I don't see such an issue going very far as we've been there before.

This is exactly what needs more attention and addressing, not video games. More care is needed in areas that don’t already offer it. Mental health care is important.
 
They won't stop at this. It will continue until the energy is channel in a place that it will yield positive and better results.

Parents neglect what their kids do and how they feel, they need to start from there to know what and how they need to help the kids in order to curb the problems encountered by kids.

You are right. Some of these kids are suffering from mental abuse and not having the ability to express themselves the way that they would have wanted, and it is a big challenge. So, it is important that their issues are addressed instead of finding who to blame for their poor decision making.
