The In-app purchases are very popular way to make money for game devs. Players can buy some cool stuff to help them win or look better. It's more like buying the extra power-ups for a game.

The in-app purchases are absolutely good because some people like to buy things to feel very special. Ads can also help to make money too.

I think charging players to download the game is another good way to make money from it. It's more like paying for a movie ticket.

Cosmetic microtransactions are very common monetization in games. However, I only like games with microtransactions that don’t affect gameplay and battle passes. Rewarded ads that feel optional, and occasional time-limited offers are also OK.

I don't own any games, I am not a developer, therefore, I can't say what monetization strategies are good for mobile games. But I think the most common methods are ad based monetization (for example Amob) or micro transactions.

Loot boxes and making special offers tends to make more money than just selling a game for a one time cost, which is sickening to see...

Successful mobile game monetization balances revenue with player satisfaction. Battle passes, cosmetic purchases, optional ads, and fair subscriptions often work well. Players are more willing to spend when purchases enhance enjoyment without creating a pay-to-win experience.
