What do you find the most challenging part about video creation to be?

Right now I'm finding that the next idea is challenging. Once I get the idea though, I find that condensing it enough so it's understandable yet interesting can be challenging. What about you?

The editing. I do not enjoy editing, tbh. Though... finding ideas themselves can also be very challenging. I'm dealing with a huge rut in both those areas. Can't think of any semi-unique ideas in my niche, which makes editing impossible, since I have no ideas to work on.

Everything. From finding a good idea to thinking how to present it. Then having to record it and after edit the mistakes you've made or even worse, start over everything. It's rare to see people doing vlogs today without seeing them cut cut cut themselves so friqently. But I guess they don't know what to say so they just cut pauses.

I completely agree! Coming up with the next idea can be tough, but for me, the hardest part is often the editing process, finding the right balance between keeping it concise and making sure it’s still engaging. It’s all about trimming the content without losing the core message or energy. Do you find that editing takes you the longest, too?

I do not think getting ideas is difficult aspect of video creation, just look around you will see a lot of things waiting to be explored. The most difficult thing is translating your ideas into audio visual content, which involves shooting, editing, etc.

Starting all over again can be a pain in the ass, but I always get the part where one would need to learn while they work. It makes it much better at doing good work with video creation.

Finding the right angles to a video is the most challenging part of it. Some people won't understand it yet, but the truth is that it is never easy to get the right angles that you want when creating a video, but it is possible.

The most difficult thing about video creation is balancing the settings to get the right audio output so that your video would have quality audio. It requires good audio equipment and a competent sound engineer to set it right.

Yeah, that’s true. Getting the sound just right can be a pain sometimes. I’ve spent hours trying to fix bad audio in my edits too. A good mic helps a lot, but sometimes even that isn’t enough. There is a need for balance and that is exactly what separates a decent video from the other ones.

Video editing is not easy at all. There are many things that you will find too hard, from looking for ideas, trying to edit noises and breath to have a good video to watch.
I completely agree, editing is not an easy job. Editing involves a lot of things, from tuning sounds to visuals to cleaning background noise, adding new sounds, cutting and moving visuals, etc.

Editing is the most challenging part of video creation. It consumes a lot of time. You believe the recording is difficult until you are forced to sit over hours of cutting and matching clips.

That's it! I'm not a video editor but I've seen so many of them working effortlessly trying to tune and clean background noises and I can say that a lot of work is in it.

Exactly! People think editing’s easy till they actually try it. Cleaning noise from clips can drive you mad. Even with tools, it still takes patience. I’ve had nights where I just gave up in the middle of editing, lol.

I have a friend that will sleep on top of his laptop while he was trying to clean noises. I might find it so funny but I truly understand that the work is never easy at all.

For me it is editing the raw footage. I am always confused when scenes to keep and what scenes to delete

Honestly I find editing to be the most challenging part of making a video. In some of my videos I don't do much editing, but in other ones like my opinion videos I tend to add more effects and images to get my point across so there's definitely more editing involved.

I can certainly agree to this. When you have a raw footage, it can be very difficult to determine what to keep and what to delete. It becomes even harder if you are trying to create short form video.

I agree. The hardest part is usually turning an idea into something engaging from start to finish. Planning, scripting, pacing, and keeping viewers interested take more effort than recording itself. Consistency and editing also drain a lot of time and energy.
