What do you play? Where and when did you learn? What were some obstacles in learning and how did you overcome them? Is there anyone simply interested in playing that never have played?

Myself, I started piano in the 2nd grade, guitar in 6th grade, and drums in 10th grade. I had private instructon for the first two and class instruction for the last.

Note: I also learned classical violin and fiddle, but I've forgotten it.

I don't make music, but I've watched videos of how some people do it. To be honest, it is one of the most difficult things that anyone can do. It's funny that I see some people act like it is one easy thing to do, though.

When I was younger, I used to play the piano. My aunt sponsored my piano lessons, and I completed them all. However, I became busy with school and now only remember the basics. I can barely recall everything I learned. If I had the opportunity, I would love to learn how to play the drums.

AI, as with everything, can make the job way easier. I listened to some AI music recently and was impressed, just like how I was shocked by AI writing. Anyway, though, of course, all this AI stuff runs into ethical problems.

Well, whether it is easy or difficult depends on your skills. If you have studied music, it is certainly easy for you. I have signed up for a few AI based music creation tools and these days I am learning how to create better prompts for music.

I concur to your submission that practising how to sing for years can make singing easy for an artist. It is just like a swimmer who started swimming from little. He won't be alien to the basics of swimming. How has your journey with learning how to make music with Ai tools been so far?

I don't play any musicial instruments, but I have some cousins that are music producers. It is not something that I have envision myself going back to though. I have made music in the past and released a few songs.

I also have a couple of buddies that play the guitar, but I don't know how to play the guitar.

When I was in middle school I took band class and I played the trumpet. I wish I stuck to playing an instrument, I always wanted to try and learn the piano or keyboard but I haven't really attempted to learn despite having a keyboard. (My wife got a Casio keyboard 18 years ago when she graduated high school.)
