What payment systems do you use to accept in-game payments? Do you use Stripe or PayPal? How can users support your game?

Are there any other payment systems you accept for in-game payments?

PayPal is still the most popular choice, and majority of users that make purchases online have it. Another good option would be adding crypto payments.

Accepting crypto payments could be a great addition, especially if using Stripe as a payment provider. Stripe supports cryptocurrency transactions, particularly with stablecoins like USDC, and simplifies the process by automatically converting payments into fiat currency. This makes it a vital option for game owners looking to expand their payment methods.

PayPal also has plans to expand into the cryptocurrency market.
The thing is cryptocurrency is always up and down, I don't think it'll be a worthy investment for game owners to actually roll it out onto their backend systems for payments.

Especially if the crypto market crashes, then they lose all of their funds. Paypal, Cashapp, Venmo, Chime and the like are all backed by FDIC & are fully secured in terms of funds, so the owners would be safe in that aspect. Crypto isn't directly tied into any bank, so that's another aspect that owners would have to look at it.

Even though checks aren't popular anymore, they could be another payment option as well. Banks are still able to cash them.

Game owners could also roll out merchandise onto Amazon, Shopify or Ko-fi where users that don't use those payments options can support the game as well. I think it's a good idea to have various options available if it's doable, that way you can cater to as many users as possible.
