What do you think about pets dying for hunger on pet sites? But you can revive your dead pets with points?

I feel like it defeats the point of working to keep them alive if you can bring them back for any reason.

It could be a unique idea, but I like the concept of reviving pets with a potion or a special type of item.

That way, users would need to ensure their pets stay happy and fed all the time. Reviving them with points might make it too easy, I think. Marapets has a similar concept where pets can die and are sent to the graveyard if neglected.

However, other users can save them from the graveyard if they’d like. These pets also turn into zombies.

The Graveyard is where all pets go when they have died. These pet graves are home to the undying pets, neglected by their owners - just check out the grave headstones to see for yourself! If their owner has not looked after them properly, by leaving them starve, not curing their illnesses or even boring them to death, they die and are buried here. But in Undying Woods, hence the name, nothing dies - ever. The pets have simply changed into Zombies and if you are willing to save one...

I like the idea of a graveyard, and revival with points.

What would you set the revival amount for if pets passed away? Would the amount be set at 50k points or 100k?

It depends how hard it is to earn the points. It should be easy enough for the average user to revive their pets. Maybe the price increases if a pet has a higher level?

It adds a layer of realism for pets to actually die of hunger when neglected. That would make virtual pet game players to learn that it is not just about owning a virtual pet, but also, it involves responsibility. Having the chance to revive dead pets is some sort of compromise that gives respite for the player to learn.

Reviving the pets with points could be a good idea. But thinking that reviving them with points might make it too easy is not true but working hard for the points will never look easy because you need to work hard for the points.

I think the best option is for a formula to be used to calculate the revival cost and that will give room for fairness and it will also challenge players to revive their pets.
