Power Book IV: Force: to End After Season 3

Tommy Egan's dominance in Chicago is nearing its end. "Power Book IV: Force" will wrap up after its third season. The announcement was made by series star Joseph Sikora on Instagram.

Variety reports that a new installment in the Power universe featuring the character Tommy might be on the horizon. Joseph Sikora explained, “When Gary Lennon, the other writers, and I were outlining our third season, we realized we were crafting a complete story. It was the perfect moment to stay true to our artistic vision and make this the final chapter in Tommy’s Chicago journey.”

He continued, “But don’t worry, Tommy’s story is far from finished. We’re just getting started, and I’m excited to reveal what’s next. A big shoutout to the entire cast and crew of ‘Power Book IV: Force.’ Tune in, because ghosts never die, and power never ends.”

Lennon commented, “Writing the satisfying conclusion to this chapter in Tommy’s journey is bittersweet. Over the past decade, both I and the fans have grown deeply attached to this character. Season 3 will challenge all our assumptions about Tommy’s world, and I assure you, it won't disappoint! While this marks the end for ‘Force,’ there are still many expansive and compelling stories to tell within the Power Universe.”



Power Book II: Ghost is also ending after this season, so I think Tommy will be joining Tariq and the other cast members in the upcoming Power series.

According to Tommy, Ghost isn’t gone either, so it’s possible that Ghost might be returning as well.🤔

Tommy is a very cute man - He's dangerously cute. He managed to handle himself well in Chicago. This is exactly what it means to be a drug dealer and a gangster. Tariq had so much to learn but unfortunately the boy didn't wait to learn from his old man or uncle.

It’s going to be a good season. I wonder what’s going to happen next. Especially since Tommy said, 'Ghosts never die and Power never ends.' Tariq was just too hardheaded and dumb to learn from anyone. That’s why, in the original Power series, he got caught up in so many things and had to be saved. Smh.

Same here! He’s one of my favorite characters from the entire Power series. I think season 3 will start in September or October.

I don't need them rushing it because it's very important they get the acting and the whole story right. I wouldn't want the rubbish they are doing with Tariq spill into this one too.

Powerbook: Ghost has one more episode left before the series ends. The last few episodes have really picked up compared to the earlier ones that aired at the start of the season.

I’m excited for the upcoming season of Force, though!

I need to catch up on it. I think I watched the 1st season. There's too many expansions to Power, and I got lost. The original Power series was my favorite show.

I haven't washed the season 2 of this film but I think it shouldn't be too long to make it interesting. Thus far, all is good and I don't expect it to extend beyond season 3.

Same here. Ghost wasn't all that great compared to Force. I like Raising Kanan though. I can't wait to see what they have planned for Power book Origins. It'll be interesting to see how they tie all the characters into everything.

I haven't been able to finish Raising Kanan yet. It just keep having switch off in between the show. I will try and force myself to complete it as soon as possible.

You’re not the only one.🤣I haven’t either. I’m still on the third episode from season 4. I’ll probably finish watching it relatively soon.

The new season of force should be coming out sometime this fall as well.

Tommy exudes that vibrant character in the movie series. He's one of the characters that I looked forward to watching in the series.

I’d honestly say the chemistry with him and Ghost made the original Power series so great.

They complemented one another well. Force is one of my favorites out of the Power trilogy.

It’s going to be a great season coming up. Raising Kanan is good too, but I don’t think its on par with Force.

In the last few episodes, I have seen Tommy come full circle. And I feel the writers are intentionally wrapping things up. I don't know if Tommy's story is done but that is completely dependent on Joseph Sikora.
