In a recent speech at the Fenty Beauty Launch Party, Rihanna stated that ““Music was the thing that got the attention, but God had other plans for me. I cannot express what this day means to me, to be able to celebrate with people that deserve it the most. Thank you to my country.”
“So it doesn't even feel like a job. But when you bring it home, I cannot express to you guys what this day means for me to be able to celebrate with the people that deserve it the most, the community that has always propelled me to the next place and given me the strength and the grace and you guys have always inspired me,” she added.”




Rihanna has not released a studio album since her 2016's album"ANTI."

With, I believe her 3rd baby on the way, it's probably time to step back and be a mom. If she leaves her kids to caretakers, she'll deeply regret it when she gets older.

She has more than enough money to support her for life, so there is no reason to continue until after they're grown up, if she can make a reappearance in another genre for some side-cash, that is probably a lot less than she would have been used to earning, but still figures the regular worker would still die to earn.
 
Wow I didn't think she would retire from making music. She's still quite young, but if she feels that she needs to retire for some reason, then it's probably best that she does. I hope her health is okay.

That’s a big if and maybe, especially considering Rihanna hasn’t released new music since 2016.


Also, A$AP confirmed back in February that Rihanna was working on her new album. However, it was also stated that it would be released in 2023.

Rihanna’s last album was Anti, which she released in 2016. The singer explained that she had not released another album since then because Anti was “my most brilliant album.” She added that she had put pressure on herself to make something equal to or better than her last work.

“So I realized that if I keep waiting until this feels right and perfect and better, maybe it’s going to keep taking forever and maybe it’ll never come out and no, I’m not down to that. So I want to play. And by play, I mean I have my ideas in my head, but I can’t say them out loud yet,” she added.

They’ve made some great hits together. Especially the “love the way you lie” and “monster”.
 
It is always sad to see them retire but life does get hectic and sometimes you need to take a step back to be sure that you enjoy life to the fullest with your family.
 
I feel like she has the ability to retire if she wishes. If she is indeed retiring, she's probably doing it to spend more time with her kids. She can always come back to it later when her kids are older. Or she can always come back to the spotlight once in a while to do a concert once in a blue moon.
 
Rihanna has done well in the music industry. She is an amazing artist and I'm a big fan of her soul lifting songs. I hope she doesn't stop making music, but it's great she's helping her community and also following her dreams.

Nobody ever wants her to stop making music but when we remember that they have babies and family, I guess this is a good reason to retire for now to look at her family.
