Sailfish and Marlin are primary and secondary genes that apply a pattern of gradiated color and spots across the body and wings of your dragons. This gene pair is now available for Modern, Aberration, Aether, Auraboa, Cirrus, Everlux, Gaoler, Undertide, and Veilspun dragons, and has a chance to drop in the Coliseum.

Note that the Ancient Gene Parchments that previously droped for this gene have been automatically converted to the Modern primary and secondary scrolls, which are the trade requirement for converting these genes to their Ancient counterparts at Glass and Gloss' Genuine Genes.

A series of dragons displaying the gradiated colors and trailing spot patterns of Sailfish and Marlin. From top to bottom, a delicate, finned Fae dragon in vibrant shades of orange, purple, and blue, a two-headed, maned Aberration dragon, in shades of white, cyan, ultramarine, and steel grey, a caterpillar-like Everlux dragon, in shades of dark blue, ultramarine, cyan, and violet, and a bulky, maned Gaoler dragon, in shades of ivory, bubblegum pink, magenta, and yellow.



If you encounter any errors in the Sailfish and Marlin genes released in today's update, please report them in this thread and we will address them in a timely manner. This thread is the genes from this expansion only. Both consistency and technical errors may be reported. This thread will close January 29, 2026.

I have had the two ancient dragons, Auraboa and Veilspun for a long time now. And I have really been anticipating more genes for them. Hopefully,. I would get lucky to get them as a drop when I head to the Coliseum tomorrow.
