I don't see anything wrong in seeing adults play video games. Games can give the user an escape from stress. I have seen a 60 year old play video games. It might not be a challenging game but they surely do. This tells us that age doesn't matter because gaming is for everyone.

My grandma and other older people play games, nothing wrong with it and better than mindlessly watching the same program on tv.

Age doesn't matter with gaming. It's all about whether you can balance games with what's truly important in life.

I think kids should be restricted from playing certain games, especially the games with violent content or explicit content, but rest of the people can play any games they like. I do not think you should stop playing games due to your age

My take is that gaming is for everyone. Age doesn't matter at all. Having fun is not only for the young ones, adults too deserve to have fun too.

Grown-ups can play games too. It's a way to unwind, stay sharp and put our minds off certain issues. Some games even help with problem-solving and creativity. That is to say that gaming is a hobby for all ages.

There is absolutely nothing wrong for grown ups to play games. They may not engage in marathon gaming but I have seen a lot of them play games. I'm talking about the seniors. They can play online games like Overwatch and League of Legends with their friends.

Not at all. They actually encourage elders to play video games to help keep their minds active and sharp.

There's no age limit to playing video games. Elders are more encouraged to play more video games because it helps in keeping their mind to be active.

Yep it's perfectly fine for a grown man like myself to play video games! I think a lot of us here are grown men and I'm sure we all love video games lol. It's a good hobby to have, you can make friends playing video games.

I won't stop playing games when I'm a old man. You only live once, do what you enjoy.

Exactly. Do what you are happy doing. Live your life to the fullest. My prayer is that I will be old and still enjoy all the good things of life which video game is one of them too.

I can see myself enjoying games I played in my youth when I'm older. I'll stay young at heart.

Staying young at heart and playing your game is the best. Games I played now are what I am keeping to the later days, just praying for health and long life.

As long as it's not bothering anybody and as long as it's not affecting his life in a negative way, then I don't see what the problem is.

If someone isn't hurting you or your family then I say leave a person be.

It's good for one to mind their business. When you see that what someone is doing isn't a bother to you or affecting you as a person, just allow the person and give them the time to enjoy what they wanted.

As someone who is two years away from being 40, I don't see age making a difference when it comes to video games. If you enjoy video games, age shouldn't matter, if it makes you happy, play those games and have fun 🙂

This is the truth! It is more like asking if it is necessary to watch sports events or go swimming. Gaming is a leisure activity and should be seen as one always. We play games to get along with friends and family members.

Gaming is one of the fun activities that people indulge on to help them unwind. Everyone watches football or plays sports, gaming is the same exact thing. This means that as long as the gaming is not affecting your work, nothing wrong in grown men spending hours playing video games

Exactly what I am trying to let them understand. It is not all about what they think as they should consider gaming to be a leisure activity. Placing it right there makes everything really clear.

This is right on point. Age should just be what it is all about. Playing games is key for me when it comes to relaxing and enjoying my life, and not even growing older can change that.

I totally agree with you. Does age matter when it comes to video games? It doesn't because anyone can play games as long as it makes you happy. There is no reason why you should not. Most people play games for recreational purposes.

Every one has their own hobby that they do to pass their time. And gaming is that hobby for some people. For an adult that gaming is that hobby, should he or she deprive himself of that hobby? I would play video games with my grand kids as long as my mind can carry me.

Nobody should deprive themselves of their hobby even if that hobby is only for kids. If it's gaming that an adult needs to pass time, they don't need to neglect it. It's a way of becoming more happier with life.

Even though children game exist, games are basically designed for adults. I believe more adults are into gaming as compared to kids.

What’s the problem? Video games are entertainment, like reading or watching movies. They can improve problem-solving, relieve stress, and even build social connection. The issue isn’t gaming itself, it’s only a problem if it starts replacing responsibilities.

The problem only comes when a grown man begins to see gaming from the point of daily activity to the extent that it replaces other responsibilities, just as you pointed out. If that's not the case, there is no issues with a grown man getting involved in gaming activities.

That can happen in children and teens as well. I think situation is worse in young people than in old people

my husband and I have "gaming date" every night at 7pm. This is quiet time for the kids when they relax and watch tv in their rooms or they hop on the games with us. Most of the time we play warzone together with some friends. I honestly don't see anything wrong with it. lol...
