Should people be held accountable for jokes that unintentionally offend others?

Sure, the person should be held accountable and if there's a way to show annoyance but not in a violent way it should employed. Some people just intentionally want to hurt others with silly jokes

It depends on the kind of home joke being made. Some jokes cross the line of fairness and become abuse. If you're joking about anything concerning another person, know when not to push it too far.

In our country, a lot of people have landed into legal troubles because of the jokes that cracked in the public platforms. I think jokes should be understood as jokes, but the I also believe they also should be little mindful about not hurting other people

It is necessary that everyone knows when they are crossing the line. You can't be saying you are just joking when it is clear that you are using that opportunity to say some hurtful words.

I am of the idea that everyone be careful of what they say because certain offensive words can land one in trouble.
