Anyone here at VPL got any side hustles they do alongside their day job/college/university/retirement or whatever it may be to supplement their income?

If so, what do you do? Online-based or RL based, and do you enjoy it? Would you ever consider turning your side hustle into a business that you could do full-time, if so, what has stopped you? If you haven't thought about it... why not? 🙂
 
No side hussles for me, I just do my regular 8 hour shift at my job and then I am free to not think about work or making money for the rest of the day. 😛

As a side hustle, I serve as a community ambassador on another forum. Additionally, I help out on an admin forum that compensates content creators and also take on some freelancing work.

My only side hustle is coding as a hobby, but I've occasionally been paid for it.

Less stress and more time for you to enjoy with family and friends. Having a side hustle is never easy as anyone would presume. The truth is that it most times come with some peace of mind.
 
I write some fan fiction for people that pay me, otherwise I really don't have much extra side stuff.
 
I've done some writing lately. I wouldn't say it would be enough for me to do it full time, although I wish I could.

I've thought I'd like to turn my blog into a side hustle.....
 
I play poker for a side income. I also play games on my phone using apps that payout occasionally.

I've not had games that I can say pay me for playing. This is one thing that I should be working on achieving in 2025. Do you have ideas of games that I should play?

If you have an android phone, Mistplay is pretty good. I use others too. Tyr Rewards I think has the highest payouts.

😂 My opponents need to hope I don't break their bank. I'm a very good player, and I have a solid track record online. As long you understand you can't win them all, have fun, and bankroll management. I'll never break the bank.

I've also cashed out 6 times in the last two months.

I will have to look at Mistplay to see what they've got to offer. As long as the reward is worth it, I will continue playing.

Have you installed Google adsense on your blog? You could also try installing Amazon Affiliates(Amazon.com Associates Central) on it as well, especially if you write about products on your blog.

Amazon affiliates could be a good way to earn some income along side Google adsense.
 
My side hustle is paid posting on two forums.
 
I work in a studio as a music producer as my day job. My side hustle is playing musical instruments for events. I also organize music concerts and I am sound engineer by the side. The side hustles are many.

That's pretty cool. How many artists do ya'll usually see in your studio on a daily basis?
 
Forex trading is one my side hustle that's paying me well enough. It took me and my brother a while to get better at it, now we are enjoying it.

Forex is a solid side hustle if you stick with it. I have some knowledge in Forex analysis but I'm afraid of losing money because I haven't perfected my skill yet. For me, I’ve done a bit of freelance writing here and there on the side. It doesn’t make me decent money, but it helps cover little bills.

Yeah I get that. There was time I also deep toes in freelance writing full time. I got a few jobs and left it because I wasn't impressed with the earnings. It’s nice just for a little extra. It can't make you rich.
