There are many social media platforms available to us these days, from Facebook to TikTok. Which social media sites do you use the most? With similar platforms like Twitter (now X), Threads, and Bluesky, which one do you prefer?

What keeps you coming back to these specific platforms? Do you use them primarily for network, or are they your main source of entertainment?

On the other hand, which social media sites do you use the least?

I only use Facebook and it's for connecting with people closer to me. I also like reading the comments on memes for a couple of minutes because they make them so much better.

I'll open the X app for a brief overview of news and see Reddit for the same, except for financial news.

Nowadays, I visit less of Facebook because I don't normally have many engagements that I would want to do there. I just simply focus on going there once a week. The site that I visit most is Twitter as I read engaging news right there.

Mostly my forum and video game blogs, I don't pay attention to facebook or twitter much since fake stuff is posted there all the time.

Facebook, the most. Threads/Bluesky the least. Twitter I use, but not as much as Facebook.

I would say that at the moment I tend to use X more and Instagram the least.

I mainly use Facebook, Reddit and Youtube. I started logging into my Bluesky account more often and made a few posts there.

Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok are the social media I used the most except thread. I make sure to check my Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok every day to read the news and also laugh on jokes too.

That’s one of my favorite things about Facebook. I love reading the comments on posts. A lot of their users are hilarious. 🤣

I probably check my timeline a few times a day, but I use X/Twitter more often than Facebook. I also use Bluesky a lot. Reddit is shaping up to be one of my favorite social media apps too.

I can see that you're very active on social media. I think we are the same because I also love using Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok to stay updated and have fun as well.

Yeah, I'm active but it's not for creating contents. I'm good in reading updates, stories, experiences from people and then having fun for myself.

It’s true that the Facebook comments are extremely entertaining and one can get carried away easily. It's a good place for staying updated on some events. Recently, i’ve been exploring Reddit a lot too.

Reddit was the one I used the most, now I've cut all social media out of my life.

Are there any particular subreddits you like on Reddit? I enjoy the technology, webgames, indiegames, and gaming subreddits. I also like checking out the WebDev subreddit.

I'm a bit reddit addict myself, I'll do a general browser otherwise gaming rumor boards and anime related stuff.

Right now Just X and will be having a facebook page in the coming days

I use Instagram the most. And I use Facebook the least. The thing is that the target audience for my professional skills as a music producer are found more on Instagram than on other social media platforms. I think that X is all about topical issues while Facebook is for showmanship.

Same here. Reddit is a pure gold mine. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't browse reddit.

I use X when I want to catch up with the news. Threads and Bluesky are like X but I use X mostly.

I use Facebook the most. I have nearly 30,000 followers there and I make money from it. I also use YouTube, IG, Threads, and X.

I tried and tried to get into TikTok but I hate it so much that I recently deleted my account completely.

The apps that I utilize the most are X and YouTube. I spend the least amount of time on TikTok as it is too addictive.

Facebook is always going to be my most used social media platform. I have made so many friends on Facebook that it's going to very hard to stop using.

Instagram is my least used social media site. I can go 5 months without opening the app.

How long did it take you to hit almost 30k followers on Facebook?

I used to use Tiktok all the time, but now I use Threads, Instagram and FB more often.

The place where I would spend most of my time is YouTube since it is both entertaining and educational. The least would be Snapchat as I barely use it.

I'm with ya on this one. Snapchat was quite entertaining when it first came out, but now, it's one of the only apps that I don't use at all.

I recently re-installed it on my phone though as I needed to get a few things from the cache.

I only used Snapchat once when I registered my account. Since then, I haven't used it again because I uninstalled the app immediately after my first trial of it.

What exactly is the reason you uninstalled it? Is it the features or was there something about the site that you weren't cool with?

It's the filters. They are very funny to me as I don't have any need for any of them. I can't possibly use it as a chat messenger which renders the app totally useless.

You are correct. Some social media are more of a filter than a communication app. That is why there are so many people like me who choose to use platforms that provide not only entertainment but a sense of connection as well, just like YouTube.

Facebook and Tiktok are the most sites that I used often, Twitter is the least.
