The Esports need some rules and it's very important because it's like every other sports. We really need to make sure that the games are fair and players are safe as well. It's more like having rules for a soccer game.

It needs rules like other sports because the rules help everyone to play fair. But we also need to let players be creative too. Too many rules might be harmful.

Rules are very important. That’s how the players can be protected from cheating or bad behavior as well.

Esports probably needs more regulation than it has now, especially around contracts, cheating, gambling, burnout, and player protection. At the same time, too much control could hurt creativity and the fast-moving nature of competitive gaming.

If modern day sports are any given indication, there is never enough regulation or too much, I don't see Esports finding the sweet spot between them.

There are a lot of rules to follow, from game publishers rules to tournament rules, players contract and other international integrity rules. Video game publishers work as a governing body for their specific titles.

Esports needs enough regulation to ensure fair competition, player welfare, and transparency without stifling growth. Rules around contracts, cheating, and tournaments help build trust, but excessive control could limit innovation and make the scene less dynamic.
