The Odyssey Controversy

Recently, a new trailer for The Odyssey was released on Youtube and it made news in a negative way. It got a lot of dislikes. Christopher Nolan's magnum opus is getting a lot of backlash primarily due to the choice of actor for Helen and also use of modern language in the dialogue. Do you see a valid reason in the backlash or it is basically nonsense?

I think they should have been accurate to source material. I cannot imagine Helen to be a black woman.

They better not screw with this movie because I have so much expectations on it which is way very high. They need to get it together and fast.
