I don't know if anyone in the creative space has experienced this. A situation where you deploy the highest level of your creative powers on a project. And you have built something already on that.

Viola! Something happens. And you lose all the progress you have made. And you have to start from the beginning again. Have you ever experienced this? How did you handle the pains?

Are you saying if something doesn't get saved and the person loses their work?

This one can be so painful. I know how it feels if you lose one. 😩. I once lost a whole blog post I wrote overnight because my laptop crashed. I just sat there like statue for minutes 😂. That kind of thing can break your spirit.

I don't want to remember what I passed through whenever I missed such high ideas. I will be good with ideas flowing in but before you know, everything will just disappear. I will just cry my eyes out because the pain will be excruciating.

I have had very creative write-ups lost in the process of still developing it. And that was because my laptop suddenly crashed. I had to refund the client because I didn't think I would be able to restart again. The motivation had gone.

I once lost a full design project when my laptop hung. That day I just sat down staring at the wall. Since then I have made autosave a religion. I used cloud backup more often now.

Losing entirely in what sense, getting your written accidentally deleted, or your manuscript getting destroyed? Well, I haven't lost any major work, but I have lost many articles and stories.
