What’s Working for You in Game Marketing Right Now?
Game marketing is always evolving, and what works today might not work tomorrow. I’m curious—what strategies are bringing you the best results right now? Whether it’s social media, influencer partnerships, community building, or something completely unique, let’s share insights and learn from each other.

What’s Driving Your Game’s Growth?

✅ Social Media: Are you seeing the best engagement on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, or another platform? What type of content is performing well?

✅ Influencer Collaborations: Have partnerships with streamers, YouTubers, or content creators helped boost visibility? What’s been most effective?

✅ Community Building: How are you fostering an active player base through Discord, forums, or other platforms? What keeps players engaged?

Don’t hold back—share what’s working, what flopped, and any lessons learned. The goal is to build a resource for both newcomers and seasoned developers looking for fresh ideas.

A Few Marketing Tips to Get Started:

🎯 Make Your Game Title Memorable & Searchable
A unique, catchy name improves discoverability and brand recognition, making your marketing efforts more effective.

📢 Think Beyond Launch Day
Marketing doesn’t end at release—keep players engaged with updates, events, and fresh content to sustain momentum.

🗣️ Leverage Word-of-Mouth
Encourage happy players to spread the word. Personal recommendations and community buzz can significantly expand your game’s reach.

Now it’s your turn—what’s working for you in game marketing right now? Let’s brainstorm and help each other grow!

If your game has a mobile version, the best way to promote your game is through Admob. By using this ad network from Google you will be advertising on mobile devices and hopefully get a lot of downloads.

I think Discord has been the most popular medium of game marketing these days. Creating a public Discord server for your game early in its developmental stages helps to build an audience for the game before it even launches. It even works more than traditional social media.

The best marketing tips that I think as worked for so many games is involving the gamers from the beginning. Honestly, the best marketing I’ve seen is when devs just involve the community early. People love feeling like they’re part of something growing. Social media too, short clips, behind-the-scenes, funny posts, all that stuff works well these days. Even small giveaways can bring attention. But to be fair, consistency is the main thing. You can’t post once and vanish. And don’t overhype what your game can’t deliver. Gamers will drag you for life. 😂

I haven’t promoted a game but I have promoted other things and I think the best strategy is to build audience on social media.
