Trusting the Psychiatric Field

I don't really trust them very much from what I know from the past - and it's cool to see this one go against his own profession. Well, in order to do that, he's facing scrutiny from an industry so Mafia-like that it bribes people to comply.

My father used to visit psychiatric, he was a regular for almost 10 years. He was told that he needs to take meds every day to control his conditions. However, when father switched to alternative healing, he actually started recovering and he hasn't touched meds for more than 20 years. So, sometimes I feel they are scammers.

This is my problem with some health practitioners. They don't actually provide solution to the root cause of a problem as they would rather want to keep managing the situation with pills that keeps the patient coming back every month. That is not the best approach, in my opinion.
