Twitter announces its own stories feature, fleets. Similar to snapchat

Twitter’s product leader announced a new feature last night that they’re currently testing. Its called fleets and this feature is very similar to Snapchat’s stories feature & instagram’s.

Even though Snapchat, Facebook and instagram have already implemented this type of feature, do you think it’s a little too late that twitter is about to launch this feature nationwide or not really?

I agree. I think it’s kind of weird that twitter decided to introduce it now and I’m not sure if it’ll be too successful from the yet. Especially since after they announced it, #RipTwitter was trending and a lot of their users weren’t pleased.
