Verpets(inactive RIP) is an inactive virtual pet site that ran from 2008 up until the late 2010's.

During its peak, it had over 70,000 users.

Verpets had a safe, fun and exciting community.

It allowed its users to take care of your very own virtual pets, battle NPC'S in their current battle arena, make new friends and play their various games.

Since Verpets is no longer active, feel free to discuss what you miss about Verpets and share screenshots if you have any.

I can confirm that Verpets proved itself to be an exceptional virtual pet website. The experience of playing the game taught me to value the feeling of community and friendship. The multiplayer battles were my favorite part of the game.

You should create a pet site graveyard on VPL @cpvr and list all the dead virtual pet sites.

We have the Remembering old sites threads, which serves as a memorial for virtual pet sites that are no longer around. Additionally, the Pet sites you miss thread allows users to discuss and reminisce about the pet sites they loved but are now gone.

These two topics effectively act as a ‘graveyard’ for our long-lost pet sites.

The verpets’ battling system wasn’t multiplayer where you could battle other players, but you were able to battle NPC opponents. The feature did have a lot of potential.

I played Verpets for just few months before it closed down. And one thing that I really fancied about it was the realistic progression ladder. It was balanced. Wasn't too easy and wasn't a grind to progress and have lots of customization for your virtual pets.
