Video games and violence?

Do you think video games cause people to become violent? Why or why not?

There have been a lot of studies that have proved that violence in video games can make people insensitive to real world violence but game violence has never made people violent.

Maybe a little, not enough to be a concern or a need of focus. If you get too mad, learn to walk away and do something calming.

It might make kids violent but I don't think it affects adults

I think the opposite. Video games keep me out of trouble, because I stay home playing games.

I would have been in prison by now if video games make someone to be violent because I might have assaulted someone over nothing serious.

I have the same feeling. I have avoided certain gossip at different times because I was home playing games. It saves me from unnecessary drama out there.

Ultimately, it's the parental upbringing that does, most of the time. It's not the games alone.
