What effect do you think video games have on people’s mental health?

Positive, negative, or neutral?

I'd say neutral like with anything balance is the key, If you spend huge amounts of time gaming with no sports or at least going on a walk it can have huge bad effects mentally and physically, But if they are balancing it through their day then, in my opinion, it isn't bad.

I’ll go with natural, it’s really depends what type of game that you’re into or looking out on, but mentally it’s can be really good for anyone who is struggling in somethings in life to help them calm down and just take a moment to forget something.

I think it depends on the person in general. It can definitely help out your hand to eye coordination, and it's a good way to de-stress from life. However, it can also cause others to get addicted to playing games or even cause anger issues in some people.

I would have to say neutral as it can have both a positive and a negative effect on people's mental health depending on each person.

I am someone that players video games in moderation and because of that, I feel that helps my mental health but for someone who constantly plays video games and does not really do anything else with their time but play video games, that can in time affect your mental health in a bad way if you do not balance video games with things such as going for a walk, hanging out with friends and such.

I believe the impact of video games on mental health is about 50-50. They can have both positive and negative effects, depending on the individual. It’s indispensable not to play video games for extended periods, as this can affect your mental health, especially if you neglect other activities and responsibilities in your life.

Video games create both positive results and negative impacts on human mental health. Through gaming people can achieve healthy escape from stress but extensive gaming creates a negative effect like damaging your personal relationships and normal everyday activities. Moderation definitely a key.

For me, I think that video games are great boosts to the mental health of people. They help to take the minds of people away from the daily pressure that they might have to worry about in their mind and save the from depression.

Depends on the person, but I like to think for most, it helps people keep sharp and entertained.

Sure, video games are a fantastic way to relieve stress and enhance mood. They provide some sort of escape, social ties, and a sense of achievement. But just keep moderation in mind.
