My mom had surgery last week. We have been in and out of hospital but she's getting better now.

It was pretty awful today as well. We were getting hammered all day with storms. It was also pretty hot, but now it's cold again.

We had a tornado watch in our area, but no tornado, thankfully.

Extreme storms always freak me out in Texas because I think they could be a result of a tornado.
