What’s the most ‘90s kid’ thing you remember?

Let's flashback to the 90s! I spent my childhood watching TRL on MTV, playing Tamagotchis, and wearing JNCO jeans. The 90s are the iconic times and I can't seem to get those experiences out of my head. This was a decade that you can not forget about.
What’s the most ‘90s kid’ thing you remember?

BET's Rap City: The Basement, MTV's music videos, and the show Street Flava were some of my favorite things about the '90s. I also remember when the first Pokémon games came out for the Game Boy. I used to play them for hours.


Playing marbles with my buddies at school, especially during recess, was also a lot of fun.

Even though the movie Recess: School's Out came out in 2001, it was apart of my childhood. Power Rangers was another favorite, I watched it all the time growing up. Shows like Franklin and Arthur were great too.


Smart Guy is another show I really miss from the '90s. It was definitely one of my favorites as a kid.


I'm also glad I got to watch Michael Jordan play basketball in the '90s. I was a huge Bulls fan growing up. Honestly, I don’t think we’ll ever see another player dominate the game like he did.


Watching sports games with my dad and papa is something else I miss about the '90s. My childhood was amazing because of them, and I’ll forever miss those moments.


Seeing Tamagotchi, Digimon, and Furbies launch was incredible, they helped inspire the birth of Neopets. Without Tamagotchi and Digimon, I’m not sure where the virtual pet industry would be today. They played a major role in popularizing the genre as a whole. We also had other games like Giga Petz, Neko(one of the first computer pet games), and Dogz, which was later followed by Catz, Dogz 2, and more, which are collectively known as the Petz series.

It's the Tamagotchis. How can I ever forget those little digital pets after having to feed, play with and clean them up after in order to make sure they don't die on me? I even went to school with mine.

I loved seeing the Sega commercials as a kid! Hearing that Sega scream, seeing Sonic running across the screen and hearing lines like "Sega does what Nintendon't" was epic!

Me too! Some of my best memories as a child in the 90s include playing Tamagotchis and watching Cartoon Network as soon as I get back from school.

The Powerpuff girls that saved their city from Monsters and Steven Universe are my favourite cartoon on the channel.

I still remember vividly the classic cartoons like Samurai Jack,.Dexter laboratory, the Powerful Girls and Steven Universe. They are truly an iconic representation of that era.
