What’s your go to cloud storage service platform?

There are a bunch of cloud storage options where you can upload your files, images, and videos with Google Drive and Dropbox being the big ones.


People sometimes say Dropbox is cheaper than Google Drive or Google One, but that’s not really the full picture. It depends on the plan and what you need.


Do you mostly use these services, or would you rather keep stuff on your own server or laptop?



Personally, I have some things on both Google Drive and Dropbox, but I don’t use Dropbox that much.


What about you? What’s your go-to for cloud storage?

I don't use any other cloud storage resources other than Google drive. It's very effective and works seamlessly with other Google apps and the pricing is quite competitive as well.

I don't really have much need for cloud storage. I use the Google cloud for the limited use of cloud storage that I have. I own 3 1TB hard disks to store my important files.

I mostly use Google Drive. I have over 20 Google accounts which means I have 150 GB free storage.

I have been using drop box quite some time now, it has been good at storing & sharing files and the interface is user-friendly.

Do you pay for extra storage or are you currently using the standard storage? I use Dropbox on my laptop to store a few things, but that’s about it. I have important things on my Google Drive though. I like keeping important things in multiple areas now in case of an emergency.

Google Drive have been serving me very well since I started using it. I don't mind paying for more storage when the need arises.

I think Google Drive is the top choice of so many people because it’s smooth, convenient and totally free. It helps you tie everything into a single platform.

It's the same thing for Microsoft OneDrive. They are as good as Google Drive.

I mainly use Google Drive but I also use Onedrive from time to time and have files on both places. I even still have my old Mediafire account that has files from 16 years ago on it!

Oh that's cool. This is the first time I hear about this, I never thought of using Discord for that. I don't go too far as I just settle with Google Drive because it syncs with my phone well. Dropbox, I’ve also used for a couple of school projects in the past.

Discord works well if you're on the phone and would like to transfer files to your friend, then download them on over to your computer. However, there is a file size limit.

Google drive has been my number one cloud storage for all my files, images and videos. And it has been serving me well too.

Google drive is an effective storage for saving files, images and videos. I have not make use of any other cloud storage except drive. My files, videos and images are very safe in there.
