What animal do you wish you could keep as a pet?

What animal do you wish you could keep as a pet, especially if it weren’t dangerous, like a lion or a cheetah?



Is there a specific animal you’ve always wanted to have as a pet?


If so, what would it be?

I would have wanted to keep Cape Buffalo as a pet. It is one animal that I've admired because of its bravery and keeping as a pet would surely be lovely.

I always wanted a pet monkey that would chill on my shoulder, and slap people on my command.

I think a dolphin would be fascinating! They're intelligent, social, and playful, plus their communication abilities are incredible. Imagine having a conversation with one!

I can't keep a dolphin as a pet 😂
I prefer something that I can walk around with, touch them and also feel them in my body. I will not live inside the water because of my pet.

I like dogs the most cause the love from them is genuine. Also, they are fun to go mountain hiking with it. Anyway, I miss having dogs and the countryside. I don't like urban life, but I need money to support myself and my family.

Note: I don't want exotic animals as pets because the relationship isn't loving (with exception of primates etc.) and they belong in the wild. It's abuse to have them in captivity.

I have a very deep interest in dolphins. If it would be legal to have them as pet, I surely think it would be fun to have them as a pet.

Farm animals are useful and fun and I raised 4-H chickens in 6th grade, but ultimately, they are not pets because they have no affection for owners. Well, maybe horses do, but we never had any.

I wish I could have an African Grey Parrot, but i have 3 dogs and i'm not sure how they would take to a flying friend lol

Finally, more often than not, I have had a special interest in octopuses and used to dream of keeping one as a pet. They are such interesting animals due to their intelligence, ability to camouflage and displaying different character. I like those attributes a lot.

What breeds are your dogs? African Grey Parrots are such amazing and intelligent creatures—they seem so full of personality! A friend of mine has one, and it’s incredible how much joy it brings them.
