It's very crucial to take cognisance of gaming addiction warning signs and it includes excessive playtime, neglecting responsibilities, withdrawal symptoms, tolerance, and also a loss of interest in other activities as well.

Well, If you're actually experiencing these signs, it's very essential for you to take a step back and check your gaming habits.

Getting mad, breaking controllers. Some people are really bad for that.

Usually if you dump everything just to game, you're addicted in a bad way and need to take a very long break. Everything in moderation.

I’ll like to add that the warning signs also include continued gaming despite negative consequences and using gaming as an escape from stress or emotions. This indicates the reason for not letting games control our life.

Warning signs can be anything from violence to depression. I know I was getting addicted when I started neglecting my responsibility, using games to suppress my emotions or stress, tolerance and loss of interest in other things I do with my friends.

I will admit I am a gaming fanatic and have a Fallout 4 poster in my room iv dealt with addiction in 2017 & 2018 I was so addicted I played for hours until my pc overheated but eventually my addiction was gone im doing better now.

Skipping meals or sleep to keep playing. Getting irritable when you can't log in. Lying about how much time you spend. Letting chores, work, or relationships slide. Playing to escape bad feelings more than for fun. And trying to cut back but failing. If a few of these sound familiar, might be worth looking at honestly.

When you start losing control over play time, neglect responsibilities, and feel unable to stop despite negative effects, that's an addiction. When you are irritated when not gaming, and when you use games to escape stress, and losing interest in other activities, that is also an addiction.
