Why do you check VPL? What do you like the most about the community?

I come back, because VPL is my roots. It's where I started to venture into programming, and building sites. I learned a lot from being a member of VPL, and with a lot of help with @cpvr who's taught me plenty of good tips with SEO, and managing my own community.

I respect what Carlos has done with VPL over the years, and his passion for virtual pet sites. He loves VPL more than anything.

I'm always coming back to VPL because it's more than just a forum to me now but also like a family. As long as I have this feeling, I'll never walk away from VPL.

The people, the community, and the games, VPL is more than a community to me; it’s my family.

I built VPL from a simple idea: a small “directory” for pet and sim games when I was just 14. But I wanted more. I wanted a space where people could connect, create, and learn from one another. So VPL grew into a full-fledged community, a place where passion for the virtual pet world thrives.

I’m grateful every day that I started this journey. Even though the virtual pet industry isn’t as large as it once was, we’ll continue doing our best to bring people together, discovering new games, supporting creators, and keeping the spirit alive.

It’s an honor to run this community, and I’m thankful for everyone who’s been part of it. VPL will always be my family; my creation, my home, my heart.

It’s hard to believe it’s been over 20 years since I began this adventure. Time flies, but the passion remains. This is only the beginning, together, we’ll keep building, growing, and carrying the VPL legacy forward.

Honestly, the community is the main reason. I enjoy reading others’ posts and the random gists. It's all fun in here.

VPL is not just my favourite hub for virtual pet discussions, it has become my hub for everything that has to do with gaming discussions. It is a vibrant and great community too.

Right now for me, it's going to be because of two things - pure love and addiction. I haven't been in love with a community the way I am now with VPL.

As someone who runs community and want to learn more about running a community, I have found @cpvr very helpful. This community is pure fun.

I don't know if someone can ever stop coming to where they find interesting things to do. I love the community and I'm always ready to check in, reading and learning is the reason I'm back.
