We all have a lot of memories right from being kids. When you look back, can you figure out the childhood memory that brings so much joy to you?

Hockey. I miss having a routine like I did when I was a kid and going to play house league every weekend.

Getting involved in an activity that you so much enjoy. Those hobbies are the ones we will look back and wish adulthood could give us the time and opportunity to recreate.

There was a very common play I used to get into with my peer group when we were kids, it is called tyre riding. We bring a car tyre, pour engine oil inside and stick two sticks by the sides and start riding it. It was a pack of fun.

Whenever I sit down and remember the memories I had when I was growing up, I will always have a smile on my face. The best of them was the one I had with my little sister. I think it helped us to develop bond and affection for each other. We love to do hide and seek inside our rooms and if you are caught, you will be the one to wash the plates and if the other couldn't find you, you will have her meat.

The memories created with your siblings are priceless. If it's possible to record and watch all of it again, I would do that in a heartbeat.

This is my open confession.

It's stealing meat or fish from my mother's pot of stew or soup 😂 😂 😂

I always laugh like a stupid man whenever I remember that now.
I used to steal chicken whenever my dad(rip) was cooking. 🤣

He’d always be like “get out my kitchen!”

I couldn’t help it though. I wanted a taste before the meal.😂😂😂

I still remember the time when I baked Christmas cookies with my grandmother. Throughout the lengthy baking sessions we devoted ourselves to combining ingredients and testing multiple samples. It came out great!

Your own of different because you're doing it when he's cooking. I sneak into the kitchen to steal mine when everyone is doing something else or asleep 😂 😂

During summers, I spent time at my grandparents' farmhouse which continues to bring joy to me even in the present. The pleasant aromas of fresh fruits combine with bird songs and the comforting feelings of my grandparents' affection make me grin with happiness today. Which among your precious childhood memories is your most favorite?

Well, he stepped away from the kitchen so I snuck in the kitchen and snatched the chicken.🤣

All the time that I got to spend with my dad and grandpa bring me great joy. They’re both no longer here with me today.

It is always good to have beautiful moments with our loved ones. It is a good thing that you had such good memories of them.

  • Going fishing with my grandparents when my grandpa still had his boat.
  • My grandmother making me a kite and flying it out in my grandparents back yard.
  • My parents helping me to learn how to ride a bike.
  • My aunt teaching me to swim.

A whole lot of great memories! Having parents and grandparents that were present in our upbringing is what a lot of us shouldn't take for granted. I like that you had these beautiful experiences.

They are memories that money can't buy. It's why I don't joke with making out time to have fun with my brother. He's the only sibling I have with me. My sisters is married and in her husband house.

Did anyone enjoy climbing trees when they were kids? It was a thing that sets those who can climb high trees apart from the rest. We go mango hunting in the forest back then. It's so much fun.
I didn't, but one of my cousins loved to climb trees. I wasn't really good at climbing trees, so I just sat there and watched him do it.🤣🤣
We also had a tree house growing up as well.

I had a big scare once when one of of tell down from a mango tree and broke his leg. I think he also dislocated his waist. None of us went for our usual mango hunting for weeks before the fear left us 😂 😂

The childhood memory that beams a smile on my face is how I used to do Bible quiz in church and came out tops among so many kids. So much drilling preparing for those Bible quizzes and the thrill of winning it was always euphoric.

That’s really cool. Winning those quizzes must’ve felt great. I remember doing spelling bees back in school, to be honest, the nerves were crazy. But when you win, it’s a feeling you don’t easily forget.

I did a lot of quizzes too. I was stressed by my teacher then so that I will improve with my communication while she also make sure that we always bring the cup back home. It's a great memories too.

That’s a nice memory. Teachers really knew how to push us hard to be more serious with our studies back then. I also had one that drilled us for spellings and at the time I thought it was too much. Looking back now, I’m grateful because it really helped me later in life.
