That’s a nice memory. Teachers really knew how to push us hard to be more serious with our studies back then. I also had one that drilled us for spellings and at the time I thought it was too much. Looking back now, I’m grateful because it really helped me later in life.
I didn't find it hard with my spellings but where my teacher wanted to kill me what my speech. I find it so hard to speak, so she tried hard to make me express myself while facing the class.
Teachers are the best and they know what's good for us as kids.

Yeah, teachers really pushed us in different ways. It’s tough when you struggle with speech, but looking back, they actually shaped us for better. With that, we can face whatever life throws at us.

I know what you mean. My teacher once forced me to read a whole story in front of class, that day it's like I should command the ground to open up for me to hide.🤣 She knows I was very shy and yet gave me that assignment. At the time I hated it, but now when I think back, it makes me smile because it really did help me open up a bit.

I thought she was being wicked because the force she used on me were not like the other kids. It was while I grew up that I knew that I'm her favourite and she wants me to be better. She's also among the reason that I'm a better student today.

I love teachers a lot and I still keep wondering how they already foresee the potentials in us that we don’t even notice in ourselves. It's even amazing how those moments that felt unfair as kids end up being the ones that shape us later.

We celebrated teacher's day yesterday and I'm proud to say that I will continue to be proud of teachers all over the world because without them, we won't make it to this extent.

Spending time with my father.
He used to take me to museums , historical landmarks and tell me stories. He also used to buy me books and read stories. I always looked forward to going to restaurants or children parks during weekends
