Some games offer unlimited building, crafting, or exploration opportunities. Others provide a clear ending. What mechanics keeps you engaged longer? Do sandbox games need objectives, or is creating your own goals enough?

I like sandbox games so I like endless content even when there is no clear goal. I am free to explore and set my own goal. That's why I love Minecraft.

I find them boring, sure they are fun at first but after a while I don't feel engaged and just move onto something else.

I don't say I deliberately them but I do believe that it is common ro lose your track in the game. You might create your own goals but it is difficult to stick to your goal.
