The zoo isn't a natural home for animals. Even though it's a place used to tourism and also a place to keep some animals to avoid their extinction, it doesn't change the fact they are in captivity.

If you look into the eyes of some animals at the zoo, you will see how sad they are.

What do you think about keeping animals at the zoo?

I love keeping animals in the zoo. It's good for conservation and also for education. On the other hand, it kind of affects the well-being of the animals when you keep them in check. But it's good that some zoos are trying possible ways to improve the living conditions of the animals.

Sadly at the rate things are going some animals are going to only be able to exist in zoo.

Zoos may contribute their share towards animals' welfare but it's quite different from the broader reasons for which a species may be going into decline and that must also be addressed.

Ermmm that's a bit hard to judge. If the species are about to become extinct, we will have to protect them somehow.

Then there is the view factor where some people.... Think of it as an opportunity to see the other dangerous or rare species up close .... So..

Poachers are real and the biggest problem to animals surviving in the wild. It's why zoos are very much important to keep those animals from being wiped out.
