Flight Rising has been open to the public since 2013 and currently stands out as one of the few pet sites with an average of 3,000-5,000 users online at any given time.

Additionally, it is one of the most discussed virtual pet sites on social media.

Over the past couple of years, Flight Rising has dominated the virtual pet games industry, clearly establishing itself in its own lane.

What do you think has contributed to Flight Rising's remarkable success? Do you think their presence on social media has played a vital role on their success? Also, what do you think sets Flight rising apart from other pet games?

Their presence on social media is a boost to made it known to players that ain't aware about it. The collection, breeding and battling is also one of the things that made it successful.

Animations and hand drawn artwork bring the players and dragons some connections to life. And it's also accessible to everyone with in-game purchases options.

I always say that Flight Rising is the virtual pet game that has the most depth for me depth. The breeding system alone is at the depth that can't be found in any other virtual pet game. Talk about the Coliseum and. Fairgrounds. Flight Rising is one virtual pet game that I play regularly and I don't feel like it is repetitive.

Flight rising is very successful because they got it right because they knew what their players wanted and that's why they stand out. I think it’s the combo of deep strong community, and constant updates. People love dragons, simple. 😂 But the game also gives players something to work toward like breeding, collecting, customizing. It feels rewarding. Plus, the art style is really clean and unique. And let’s be honest, any game with active players who help newcomers will always grow. Flight Rising just tapped into a niche and kept it consistent for years.

The guys twho built the game are virtual pet game players because that is the only explanation for how amazing the game has been. The gameplay was fantastic, and every experience with playing the game has been exciting.

Maybe an increase in recent flying interest perhaps?
The birth of a dragon-style pet game was indeed, the flying interest. 😉

It being about dragons definitely helps.

Despite any complaints I have about FR (of which I have plenty) I think it has a few huge benefits.
The art is great, and the familiars have had some great creature designs which makes you feel incentivized to collect them.
I think both my favorite and least favorite thing is the the gene/breed scrolls, which allow you to customize an existing dragon if you're willing to pay for it. I love gening g1s in that game, but it's also the bane of my existence due to gem genes and breeds 💀

Also the coliseum can be kind of addictive.
