Competitive players often prioritize high refresh rate monitors, low input lag, and stable frame rates. Which hardware upgrades truly affect performance during gameplay, and which ones mostly improve comfort rather than skill?

Pretty much the best stuff, good monitors and controllers that have no lag input or drifting.

I haven't done competitive gaming but play games on PC. What actually matters for better gaming experience is you need to have high end hardware.

That's right, as I feel that getting the best high-end hardwares will make gaming, especially on PC, a better one. So, once one can be able to afford buying such hardwares, upgrading them makes playing those games exciting.

I don’t do competitive gaming but if tou want to play games that are popular in competitive space, you need a high refresh rate monitor, a strong, stable CPU and GPU.
