What is the brutal advice that you have for men as regards relationships?

When it comes to relationships, I believe that it is important for men to be open about what they want. If you see a girl that you like, tell her about it and see what she feels. It is either she says yes or no to your request. What other advice can you give to men?
 
Some men don't know what they want sometimes. They will be so confused that they cannot open up to the girl they are dating that they will like the friendship to lead to marriage. These men will like to play until the girl finds another person, that's when they will sit up.

I will advise men to find any girl they are dating worthy of being married. They should stop checking out girls or trying to test them to know how worthy they will be for them.
 
I understand that brutal advice can be tough to swallow. Mine was : Men, take ownership of your emotions and communication. Stop expecting your partner to read your mind or fix your problems’’. I won't lie, this advice helped my relationship.

Communication is very important in every relationship. Say it how you want it, and be ready to hear what your partner would want to say. If you keep quiet, you will end up making the matter to be longer than expected.
 
Compromise.

If you can't, it's not going to work.

Relationships aren't 50%/50. They are also 10%/90%, 40%/60%. You pick up what your partner can't, and they'll do the same.

And if it gets longer, the more difficult it would become to resolve. It's always good to communicate and be quick about it. Identifying the third party in the conflict also helps a lot.
 
Someone told me this : Men, don't confuse being 'strong' with being silent. Vulnerability is strength, not weakness. Stop objectifying women; see them as equals.

That's really beautiful. To be able to stay with your partner is everything. It always means having a really good time, and to be able to do so, you should let go of some things.
 
My mentor told me that before thinking about going into a relationship, I should keep a pet for at least 1 year. If I can tolerate my pet for 1 year without getting fed up, it means that I'm ready to live with a women.

He was right. Women would behave in a way that if you are hot tempered, you won't even want to do anything with them. So, patience is seriously needed when dealing with women.

I took that advice hook, line and sinker because I knew that it was the real truth. Now, I know how to deal with women and I can tell you that it's the easy at all.
