Attending a music concert is a smart way that one can get to relax and make friends. When it comes to paying for tickets, how much can you spend on a concert and you will be satisfied?

I just finished a concert of my own and I saw people willing to pay up to $10 to attend. As a music person that understands the struggles of putting up a concert and I like the artist lineup, I would be willing to pay up to $50 to attend a concert.

Do you know the highest amount ever paid for a concert ticket was $168,000?

It was paid for a pair of seats at Led Zeppelin's one-off reunion show, the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert which was held on 10th December 2007 at London's O2 Arena.

I'll never pay such amount for any kind of concert.

It's been a couple of years since I've been to a concert, but the last time I went, my buddies and I spent $100 on some lawn tickets. I won't spend more than that on some tickets.

The other tickets were above $500-1k+

Honestly, it depends on who’s performing. If it’s someone I really like, like Burna or Wiz, I can pay like $30 or maybe $50 max. Anything above that, I just prefer to stream from the comfort of my home. These days concerts don't really live up to the hype again, especially with crowd issues and sound issues.

To be honest, it depends on who’s performing. I can’t just pay crazy money for every artist. For someone like Asake, I can drop like $40 max if it’s a proper show. But definitely not all those “VIP” tables they charge thousands of dollars for, I’m not doing that.

A 1k dollars ticket to go for a music concert is on a high side, but I guess it depended on who was performing on that night.

They are extremely expensive these days, makes me wonder how many afford it these days.

It has been long that I've attended a concert. Those ones was just free for everybody, that's why we didn't worry about how much it cost. The ticket is becoming much expensive than I don't have the interest to go for one right now.

I won't spend more than 100 bucks for any concert that I am attending, but the reality right now is that a lot of music concerts go for more than this amount. So, I've made up my mind to avoid attending any of these concerts at this point.

I can't spend such amount too but if I have someone that wants to spend the money, asking that I tagged along which I will do that joyfully. I have a friend that always want to take me to concert, I can only attend if he calls out to me to come out. The reason I usually go for the concert is the fun and happiness that people have when they see their favorite artists.

All the ones I've been able to go are free of charge. I don't think I would ever be willing to pay $100 or more just to attend a concert. Yeah, I'm that stingy with money.
