What is the longest time you have been on a job?

In the last 10 years, I have only taken two jobs. One job lasted just 17 days. I had a fight with the boss and stopped going to the job without even quitting formally. On another job, I lasted for one year. I got bored and gave up.
What is the longest time you have been on a job?

One job lasted 4 years that was when I worked in the oil field.
Another lasted 2 years, and my last job, I worked for another for 8 years as a sub-contractor at a local park as a security guard.


8 years is my longest tenure job.

My very first job as a janitor which I held for 7 years, nearing that with my current job but started to job hunt for something that pays more.

I had a teaching job first which lasted for 2 years. The second was Head of Marketing Department in an Advert Agency company but I didn't stay on the job for long. It only lasted 6 months.

My longest was working for as manager in shipping firm and it lasted for 6 years.
