Playing virtual games requires one to have a basic understanding of what the game is all about. This is basically all about the skills that you've gained playing a couple of virtual pet games. When it comes to luck, do you think that it exists at all? How do a player get to find a balance on both?

There's nothing like luck in playing virtual pet games in my opinion. There are things you are meant to do in order to keep pets in good shape, if you fail do it, there's no luck to save you.

Not so much skill. You need to grind for what you want on a text-based game which most virtual pet sites are.

Skill can trump luck, but sometimes you need enemies to load just right so that counts as luck.
I feel this 100%. I believe that it works both ways when you're playing but on a bigger scale, it's better to have more skills and depend on using it.

Virtual pet games are more of a grind than a skill that you have to succeed in the game. With them being more of a grind, that can usually result in addiction though so something to be careful of.

Yeah, having those skills are very important, if you are looking at going far with playing the game. You need to learn and you have to do it fast.

It's like when one says you need luck to take care of your pets in real life, no it doesn't work like that. If you don't know how to do it, no luck will help you get it right.

Playing virtual games requires more skills than luck. I am trying as much possible to use my skills to win games but there was a day that luck shine on me after playing the last game. I was at the verge of giving up but I won at last. I know it was my skill per say but luck in my favour.

There are activities which aren't influenced by luck and virtual pet games isn't one of such games backed by luck. It's not like gambling which it's all on your luck to win.

I know that virtual games is more of skills than luck. Such luck I experienced that day was after I was about to give up, what I didn't expect to give me a win, just blessed me with a win. I can call it my skill or it can be a luck to me too.

Depending on the features, some games may require a certain level of skill, especially when playing specific types of games. Some are designed so that you need to figure out how to play them correctly to achieve higher scores and earn more points.

However, I consider quests to be a form of grinding, similar to restocking and maintaining your user shop. Sniping auctions could also be considered a skill, much like playing the stock market on pet sites that have one.

Personally, I believe that both luck and skills play a very important role in virtual pet games. Of course, I understand that skills and knowledge of the game mechanics are very essential, luck can also influence outcomes as well.

I agreed that skills are very essential, but luck can definitely be a game changer. In virtual pet games, luck can really affect things like breeding outcomes or even encountering rare pets. This is why it's very important to balance both.

Most of these games have you working out your butts in order to get a win. It doesn't have anything to do with luck because it's not your luck that's going to have you grinding out wins. You have a set skill for it or you won't know how to win.
