What are the reasons why you started a virtual pet site? (if you own one)

How much did it cost you start up? Did it live up to your personal expectations?

I would start one just to have a kind of pet I guess? I can't afford any in real life 🙁

I use to enjoy training my pets, and leveling up their stats too. Battling was fun, also the grind of earning points kept me interested.

I haven't started any pet site yet. If I'm being honest, I don't think I'm ready to start out one yet because I wouldn't have time to commit to building it and keeping it up to date.

It will take you a lot of time to start one which is never easy. However, if there is interest there, you won't even feel the stress of beginning a pet site.

To me, there's nothing like a short term in running a pet game site. It's going to be frustrating for those who are using the site when you pull the plug along the line because you can't keep up with managing it. It's why I don't plans of running one now because I can't go all in on a long run now.

I don't have a pet site but I consider it interesting. It astonishes me when I see people develop a pet site. I value the distinctive features as well as community aspects which each site offers to its players.

It's almost the same thing with starting to run a forum. If you're not in it for a long term, it would be like wasting your time and people's time who were using the forum/pet site.

To establish a virtual pet site one needs unwavering commitment as well as strong passion. Virtual pet site owners dedicate their totality to interactive experiences for their players. .

There’s two frameworks around that can help a future owner start one if they’d like to, so the process is a lot easier. However, without using a framework, it’ll take a lot more time to build a pet site from the ground up.
