A game tends to become addictive when players can easily see their progress, when the gameplay is straightforward, and when there is a captivating story that draws them in. Furthermore, an effective reward system and other immersing elements can greatly enrich the overall experience. What else can you add?

For me, a game is addictive when the gameplay is immersive and the storyline is captivating. When there are endless progression and possibilities in a game, it easily becomes addictive.

Social interaction, frequent updates, competitive elements, personalized challenges, and aesthetic appeal also boost addiction by deepening emotional and psychological engagement.

The game's lore, story, characterization and graphics are all what makes it to be very addictive. It's why a game's story which is very repetitive is never addictive.

I don't think any game is addicting, it more depends on the person if a game they play is addicting to themselves.

I agreed with you. Games can't be addictive except the person that are playing the games became addictive to it.

I find whenever there's goals, and rewards to unlock as you level up, it makes me return to a game more. I'll play longer.. becoming addicted.

A game's story is the reason we can always come back. If it's boring or the graphics doesn't look nice at all, it will be hard for gamers to come back to it.

With this, I'm already addicted with any game that have these features. These are features that can make someone never to leave out in the game because everything is completely satisfying.

if you play any game that makes you say “just one more round” even when you have spent a lot of time playing it already, that kind of game is addictive. Sometimes, it doesn't even have to do with the graphics. I remember one simple puzzle game I played for months. The graphics wa poor but the game was so addictive.

Games become addictive by combining instant rewards, leveling systems, and uncertainty in outcomes. Social interaction, competition, and daily incentives keep players returning.

A game is addictive for two reasons, one, it fun and entertaining (which is one of the most important things we seek in life) and two adrenaline rush (we need some adventure in real life as well).

I think a game becomes addictive when it combines clear goals, constant rewards, and a sense of progress. Small wins, leveling systems, and unlocks keep me engaged because I always feel like I’m moving forward.

The fulfilment from getting certain rewards when you play a game can be the driving factor for me. I celebrate wins when I play games no matter how minimal and that's one of the reasons I play certain games that I play.
